WE DID IT AGAIN!!!

The title of this post pays homage to the win we had when we pitched Sir Richard Branson back in 2009. Thanks to our supporters, our video that we had sent to him was broadcast on Virgin Atlantic planes in June of that year.

Recently we saw a tweet from one of the producers of the new Ricki Lake Show : “20 yrs in TV, I have never seen anything like this. YOU could be on @rickilakeshow #friendsofricki”. Embedded in this tweet was a link to the directions on how to proceed.

Well, proceed we did. We sent in our pitch to the producers and they loved it. Now we find ourselves counting down the days until Thursday’s episode. That’s right, on Thursday, September 20th, 2012 MaryMargaret will be featured on the show as she talks about her Kids Are Heroes organization. We also brought one of our heroes on the show with us. Jonas Corona, 8, hands out food to the homeless in his community and is a huge advocate for the homeless. Both Jonas and MaryMargaret were honored to be a part of this show as it features kids and adults alike who take it upon themselves to get involved with something they are passionate about as they make a difference.

Update 09/22/2012: The episode aired Thursday and was truly a very important show not only because MaryMargaret was featured but kudos go out to all the folks that Ricki showcased. Here is the segment featuring MaryMargaret and Jonas:
